Solo Exhibition
It has been an eventful past 10 months travelling abroad which included the Antarctic regions and I am pleased to let you know that I have a Solo Exhibition opening this coming weekend.
Launch Event: Saturday 27 May 2017 2-8pm
Public Talk: Thursday 1 June 2017 6-8pm
Exhibition is open 10-5 Tuesday to Sunday until Saturday 10th June 2017.

From a lifetime of visiting, working and living in the Yarra Ranges, many aspects,experiences and vistas remain indelibly etched. These are the source rather than the definition of Ian Whitford's work. Interpreting these experiences and creating images and designs means that the artist is the creator and the viewer the reactor.
This exhibition encompasses large oil paintings on canvas, smaller abstractions in enamel on hardboard and pen and ink drawings.
Most of Ian Whitford's career has been in outdoor education involving environmental science, physical recreation and the arts, in which he holds significant tertiary qualifications.
Ian Whitford exhibits regularly with the Contemporary Art Society of Victoria.
