1. OVERVIEW

1. Entry to the Contemporary Art Society's ANNUAL EXHIBITION 2023 is open to currently paid-up full Members of the Society (i.e. your CAS Membership must be paid-up until 30 June 2024)

2. On submission of your entry on this form, you will be sent a confirmatory email summarizing all the details you have provided on this form.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THIS ENTRY-FORM

Please complete details in the FORM below. Note fields marked with a red * are required. If you have already supplied your current address and phone contact details to us as a CAS Member, you do not need to re-enter these details (except if you have changed your contact details since you renewed your CAS Membership). When you have entered all the information required press SUBMIT at the end of the form.


ENTRY FEE SUMMARY & WORKS-ON-PAPER ENTRIES

• Entry fee for 2D & 3D artworks is $30 for first entry.

• All 2D artworks OVER 122cm (width or height) will incur a fee of $5 for every 30cm over this size, in each dimension. (sculpture excluded) - e.g: a 2D artwork of 100cm x 150cm.

• EXAMPLE: the second dimension is over the 122cm standard size by 28cm, and incurs a fee of $5 for being over the standard size. Entry fee for this work is: $30 standard size + $5 for oversize in one dimension = total payable of $35.

• SECOND ARTWORK ENTERED: free for 2D work up to 122cm width or height. Additional fee for oversize works applies.

• You my also enter 5 Works-on-Paper (WOP) on this entry form. Please record each WOP's title, medium, dimensions (h x w) and price as per your main artworks, NOTE: You do NOT need to supply images for your WOPs.

5. ASSISTANCE ROSTER

  • As part of your contribution in running this exhibition, exhibiting CAS members are expected to assist for least one session of the exhibition as per the available 'sessions' listed below.

  • Please tick at least 4 of the available 'sessions' from the list below.

  • Also indicate your preference-order by tranferring the 4 session number you have selected to the Sitting Session preference-order box in the order (left to right) from highest preference to lowest preference (see example on this form below).

  • Interstate and Country Victoria members excluded, but welcome to help if possible.

  • NOTE: All sessions have limited availability, so we cannot guarantee filling your first preference/s against any sessions, although we will try to.

  • We will contact by email or phone to confirm WHICH 'session' you have been allocated in the week after the close of entries.

  • If you wish to help at more than one 'session', just put the number of sessions (e.g. '2') in the 'number of sessions I will help with' box at the bottom of the help offered list. Normally it would be '1'.

  • Note: If you are unable to assist at all, a non-sitting fee of $30 applies. (This 'non-assist' fee does not apply to interstate or Country Victoria artists.)

  • Choose at least FOUR sessions from list below, indicating your preference - 1, 2, 3 or 4
