  1. Entry to the Contemporary Art Society's ANNUAL EXHIBITION 2022 is open to currently paid-up full Members of the Society (i.e. your CAS Membership must be paid-up until 30 June 2023)
  2. On submission of your entry on this form, you will be sent a confirmatory email summarizing all the details you have provided on this form.

NOTE ABOUT ENTRY FEES & OVERSIZE ARTWORKS

• Entry fee for 2D & 3D artworks is $30 for first entry.

• 2D artworks OVER 122cm (width or height) will incur a fee of $5 for every 30cm over this size, in each dimension. (sculpture excluded) - e.g: a 2D artwork of 100cm x 150cm. The second dimension is over the 122cm standard size by 28cm, and incurs a fee of $5 for being over the standard size. Entry fee for this work is: $30 standard size + $5 for oversize in one dimension = total payable of $35.

• SECOND ARTWORK ENTERED: free for 2D work up to 122cm width or height. Additional fee for oversize works applies.

WORKS-ON-PAPER FOLIO
  • Included within the exhibition will be the CAS WORKS-ON-PAPER FOLIO.
  • CAS Artists who have entered artworks in the Annual Exhibition are also eligible to submit up to 5 works on paper, normally @ $5 per work-on paper Free for the 2022 exhibition.
  • Works (and mounts) must be no larger than 56cm x 81cm.
  • C.A.S. Inc. reserves the right to select works for the folio. Fees for unselected works will not be refunded. All works on paper must be wrapped in clear cellophane /plastic.
  • Artworks will be displayed in the CAS folio.
  • No oil pastels or oil paintings permitted.
  • Dry pastels, charcoal, pencil, etc must be well-sealed with fixative.
  • Works not conforming to conditions will not be accepted.
  • Bring wrapped artworks for the Works-on-Paper Folio on sending-in day.

ASSISTANCE ROSTER

  • As part of your contribution in running this exhibition, exhibiting CAS members are expected to assist for least one session of the exhibition as per the available 'sessions' listed on the right.
  • Please number at least 4 of the available 'sessions' in total from the list on the right to indicate your preference - i.e. number selected sessions with a 1, 2, 3 or 4 (don't use any number more than once).
  • Interstate and Country Victoria members excluded, but welcome to help if possible).
  • If you are unable to gallery sit during the exhibition, you may also choose to help with exhibition set-up.
  • NOTE: All sessions have limited availability, so we cannot guarantee filling your first preference/s against any sessions, although we will try to.
  • We will contact by email or phone to confirm WHICH 'session' you have been allocated in the week after the close of entries.
  • If you wish to help at more than one 'session', just put the number of sessions (e.g. '2') in the 'number of sessions I will help with' box at the bottom of the help offered list. Normally it would be '1'.
  • Note: If you are unable to assist at all, a non-sitting fee of $30 applies. (This 'non-assist' fee does not apply to interstate or Country Victoria artists.)
