Art at Burnley Harbour 2011
After the success of our first Art at Burnley Harbour Exhibition in 2004 and held each December since, each year with increasing numbers of visitors and participating artists, we are pleased to hold our EIGHTH Art at Burnley Harbour outdoor (undercover) art exhibition over 3 days from Friday 2nd December (8am to 8pm) Saturday 3rd December (8am to 8pm) and Sunday 4th December (8am to 6pm). The 2010 ABH was a big success, with over 500 artworks by over 120 artists exhibited and with 100's of visitors with plenty of art sales. Here are some pictures from that weekend. Our ABH exhibitions have given artists from Melbourne, and further afield, an opportunity to show off their works in a very special and historic setting at Burnley Harbour in RICHMOND and at a low entry cost to the artist.

Where is Burnley Harbour?
The Burnley Harbour precinct is in Richmond only a few minutes walk from Church Street and consists of McConchie Reserve, the former Richmond Bluestone Quarry (now a wetland), the Monash Freeway reserve, and the Burnley Harbour, managed by Parks Victoria. The exhibition is to be held adjacent to the Yarra Trail bike-pedestrian route on the Yarra River frontage under the Monash-CityLink roadway (also accessible via the pedestrian underpass at the south end of Mary Street, Richmond)

Acknowledgements: The Contemporary Art Society of Victoria is grateful to CityLink, Parks Victoria, Dimmeys Stores, All Melbourne Table & Trestle Hire, The City of Yarra and Hocking Stuart Estate Agents (Richmond, Carlton, Hawthorn, Albert Park and South Yarra Branches) for their support of the 2010 exhibition.
